Balance isn’t something you just create outside of you. It’s something you must develop and cultivate within.
I find this is a lot of asking myself, “do my insides match my outsides?” Or in other words, “am I being completely t•r•u•e to myself?”
For me, getting into my body allows me confront what I hide, neglect, and fear. Like, what I’m afraid to ask for or reveal? Or how am I putting others expectations in front of my own needs and wants??
I can’t say that it’s easy. Sometimes it requires the of feeling overwhelm, anxiety, and tears and really great boundaries. And sometimes it’s a quick and clear message that is easy to navigate.
The most important thing for me is to lean in and listen to the part that is quiet yet needs to be heard.
